Getting calls from (800) 831-7311? First call I had asked for a written letter so I could validate the company's claim on an old account I had. Not saying it's an invalid claim, but I've read about scams. I have never received a letter from BCR Collection Agency so I had never heard of him. The man that called was rude and only gave me 2 options to square away the debt. Either payoff the entire balance that they added $100 on or two payments. I couldn't afford either one, but could go on a payment plan if they could validate by sending me a letter. He scolded me saying this was a ploy to delay the claim. He also said that if I didn't contact him back by Thursday that his work buddies weren't as nice as he was.
Day two some other guy calls me and is rude and cursing. He tells me that I better pay them what I owe and that he will call me everyday and make me miserable. He goes on to say that he can really be nasty and I hadn't seen that side yet. Who trains these people to say things like this?
Please help out and if they are bothering you file a complaint.
